Frank Lunte, born in Minden, studied at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin with Prof. Detlef Bensmann and completed his studies with a concert soloist degree, graduating with honors.  In addition to his numerous chamber music activities, Frank Lunte also plays in specialist ensembles for new and contemporary music and is regularly invited by symphony orchestras as soloist. He also performs with young children in the widely successful and internationally acclaimed project „Wir Kinder vom Kleistpark“, whose second CD has just been honored with the media award „Leopold“. Frank Lunte has edited the three-part CD-documentary on „Music for Saxophone from Berlin“ for the record label EDA and he recorded the saxophone concerto by Lars-Erik Larsson for the renowned classic-label Deutsche Grammophon to great critical praise. In June 2010 he was heard as soloist in the saxophone concerto by Alexander Glasunov on tour with the chamber orchestra of the Komische Oper Berlin and in November he will play the rarely performed Concertino by Günter Raphael in the Berlin Philharmonic. Concert tours have taken Frank Lunte through Europe, Russia and Brazil.

Henning Münther, born in Minden, studied church and school music with Prof. Ernst Erich Stender and Prof. Hartmut Rohmeyer at the Music Academy in Lübeck. He finished in 1996 with his A-Diploma in church music. Since then he has been working as cantor and organist at the Peter-and-Paul-Church in Oldesloe. Henning Münther’s main interest lies in conducting several choirs, thus successfully representing the diversity of sacred music with performances of musicals, gospel-concerts und oratorios well beyond the limits of his parish. Several CD productions as well as invitations to various choir-projects round off his activities.
